2. Hosting and server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server log files: IP address (shortened or short-lived), date and time, page accessed, referrer, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). The data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.
3. Contact form
If you contact us via the form, we process your name, email address, optionally your company, plus your message, topic and timeline in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is stored in our database and deleted once the enquiry is fully handled and no statutory retention periods apply.
4. Processors
For hosting and database services we use providers acting solely on our instructions (processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR). Transfers to third countries only take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses).
5. Cookies and analytics
This website only uses technically necessary cookies required for operation and – in the editorial area – for sign-in. No analytics, tracking or advertising technologies are used without your consent.
6. Fonts and external content
Web fonts are loaded via Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (consistent presentation of the website).
7. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Hesse with the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
8. Data security
Data is transmitted encrypted via TLS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
